Kevin, Beyond Bullying - Story of Surviving and Moving Beyond

Kevin Horgan is currently a student journalist with an academic background in psychology and forensic psychology. Deciding to combine his past education with his passion for writing, Kevin recently made the switch to journalism by joining Full Sail University’s New Media Journalism MA program to cover crime and survivor news. Growing up in Brooklyn, N.Y., Kevin is a survivor of long-term bullying. He will be discussing his personal victimization, how his experiences have shaped his life, and how he continues to cope by helping others find a voice. He will also discuss his website KevHorganMedia.com, the topics he covers as a journalist (including bullying, domestic violence and abuse, and human trafficking), and his broad-stroke plan for his career.
