Toni Sacher - Meet An Example of a Survivor Moving Forward In Her Life

Toni is a survivor of domestic violence and has been working in the field for the last 18 years, which includes working with shelters, non-profites, blogtalkradio, a cable television program and speaking with doctors and nurses about identifying the signs of domestic violence.  She started an elder abuse program in the last shelter she worked in, but was unable to continue with that due to lack of funds.  At 56 years old, she graduated from college, after being told by her mother and former husband that she could never do that.  She wants everyone to know that you CAN get out of your situation, especially with a safety plan, and it is important to reach the teens of today.
