Curt Kraft director of the Eash Carolina Mens and womens track and field/cross country squads. Prior to his current position at ECU, Kraft was the head womens track and field coach at the University of Nevada for 14 seasons.
Kraft has rewritten the East Carolina track and field record book. He has 20 womens outdoor record, 19 womens indoor records,13 mens indoor records, and 12 mens outdoor records have fallen. He also boast 11All-America selections, numerous All-Conference members, several NCAA Regional and National Qualifiers, one Conference Championship and a C-USA Coach-of-the-Year Honor.
Also featured in the interview will be Brie Berkowitz, she is the Assitant Coach of Cross Country and Track and Field. She joined the ECU coaching staff in August 2012. She is a former Pirate student/athlete and she competed in the 400-meter hurdles and the pole vault. Berkowitz and her relay team still hold the East Carolina record of 1:01.59 set in 2007 at the Florida Relays in the 100-meter shuttle relays.
