She wasn't concerned when the midwife wasn't able to find a heartbeat, she just assumed it was the positioning and too early in the pregnancy. Unfortunately, at 12 weeks pregnant, she miscarried her baby in a traumatizing experience at her OB office.  Kristin was depressed after her miscarriage and did not receive any support or help from the OB practice.
