Join Melissa F Alvarado as she talks toWyatt Underwood                                                               Wyatt Underwood co-hosts two open mics, one in the San Fernando Valley and one in Frazier Park. He has self-published five books of poems, and has written over 800 poems. He appears more or less regularly in four open mics in Los Angeles. He writes poems about his loves: the mountains, the desert, the beaches, women, and Harley riding. He also writes about living in Los Angeles and in the United States. He was born in this country then came to it as a stranger when he was twelve. He worked in the unmanned exploration of space. He worked professionally with computers for 47 years. He has a wife, an ex-wife, three grown children, and five grandchildren.
