Onfire Agape Radio Evangelist, Peter Karanja, encourages believers in his teachings from the scriptures, that God did not call them out of the world to punish them. The renowned preacher show believers some of the attributes of God,such as love and mercy towards his own people. He gives an example of the story of the children Israel, written in exodus. The Israelites were on their journey from slavery in Egypt to their freedom in the promised land. They went by way of the Red sea. When they came to the Red Sea,they could not move forward. The pharaoh's army was hotly pursuing them from behind. It seems as if they were trapped. They turned to Moses, their leader and said, "Is not this the word we did tell you in Egypt, saying, let us alone, that we serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. And Moses said unto the people, "fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will show you to - day: for the Egyptians who you have seen to - day, you shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold you peace." Evangelist Karanja concluded by reminding believers that the LORD is still fighting for us even to - day!
