For thirty years, Donna MacMeans was a staid CPA, but these days she’s better known as an impassioned author of witty and seductive historical romance. It took ten years and three manuscripts, but her debut release, THE EDUCATION OF MRS. BRIMLEY, won the prestigious Golden Heart award from Romance Writers of America. Her second release, THE TROUBLE WITH MOONLIGHT, the story of an invisible heroine in Victorian London, was awarded the 2008 Romantic Times Critics Award for Historical Love and Laughter. Her lastest book, the sequel to THE EDUCATION OF MRS. BRIMLEY, was released in April 2009 under the title of THE SEDUCTION OF THE DUKE. The third book of this series, THE REDEMPTION OF THE ROGUE, is scheduled for release in 2011. Donna lives in central Ohio with her husband and two adult children. She still misses her canine companion who passed away last year, but takes solace in watching her daughter’s fish and amazing snail – Killer. She’s part of the global blog group known as the Romance Bandits (Twenty talented authors and one out of control rooster), and is an active member of Romance Writers of America, and Central Ohio Fiction Writers.
