Dr. Marcy Cole, L.C.S.W, Ph.D

Dr. Marcy Cole, L.C.S.W, Ph.D received her B.S. in Communication Studies, majoring in Radio/Television and Film from Northwestern University. She earned a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work at Loyola University in Chicago, and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the Institute of Clinical Social Work in Chicago. During her early years in the field, Dr. Cole worked in both in-patient and out patient settings with adolescents, adults, couples and families. After completing her Masters degree, she worked with the chronically mentally ill population in the General AfterCare Program, at The Counseling Center of Lakeview in Chicago. In 1999, Dr. Cole's published doctoral dissertation was a qualitative study on "The Experiences of Never Married Women from the ages 29-39 who desire marriage and children".
