In this first broadcast of AMANSEM: Affairs of the Nation in our year of 13019, we examine Ancestral Divination preserved in the blood-circles of our people in North america inclusive of Hoodoo (Akan), Juju (Yoruba), Voodoo (Ewe, Fon), Ngengang (Fang) and Wanga (Ovambo - Gullah). These expressions of Ancestral Religion in North america are addressed in our newly released documentary film AMARUKAFO ADEBISA: African-American Ancestral Divination, which is screening now in multiple cities.

We also examine the trustory of Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) maroon settlements on Edisto Island, one of the Gullah Islands of South Carolina. This is the site of our second annual HAPI-MERIT: HiberNation - Training, Cultural and Ritual Retreat which takes place on the weekend of February 16th.
