We're coming to you having survived a not quite quite appocolypse, and are getting geared up for a merry Capitalismas. On tonights show we begin with Eyes Open where Justin Jacoby Smith talks the NY National Guard testing weaponized drones, Yes I did said Testing Weaponized Drones in NY. Also he'll tell you about Europeans showing Robin Hood some love, and rank America's greediest CEOs of the year. Following that we'll go to an interview with teacher and activist Nathan Harrington discussing school closures in DC and the community outrage its provoking. On the War On Information I'm joined by my returning co-host Amanda Bleep talking about Texas schools that want to GPS your kids and public buslines already eavesdropping on your conversations. What will be our memory of privacy when its finally all gone? In the second hour filling in for Robert Stephens on Like It Is, I'm joined by Egyptian-American activist Nermin Abdelwahab as well as Iranian-American activist and scholar of middle eastern conflict, Navid Nasr. We'll debate the different factors at play in the recent political turmoil in Egypt. Rounding out the show Justin reports on the return of the Zapatistas to the public eye and good friends at Walmart setting up shop at the base of the Mayan pyramids. Turns out nothing is sacred. Tune in!
