The Nu Origins Podcast provides news of interest locally and globally to the people of African descent world wide. We look at lifestyle, culture, entertainment, technology and innovation and everything related to the positive movement of the global African family wherenever they may be in the diaspora. This week we are going to have a little fun with a situation we are all too familiar with but with perhaps a different way to look at it. While watching the debates, I had a thought. Have you ever been involved in a debate and the other person or perhaps even you KNEW they/you are 'right'? so the arguement continued to a non constructive end? Friendships have been lost, relationships ended, lives have been lost, and wars have been fought all because someone knew they were right. What if ALL answers are correct? What if EVERYBODY is right? It speaks to a larger issue of what a point of view is and truth. The world we know of full of information and opinions and people who attach to one or the other and can't open their minds enough to see anything different. Did you know that even your truth will change over time based on what you add to your experience or knowledge base? I'm sure it already has and since none of WE are perfect, but have to find a way to peacefully exist with each other since our very survival will depend on it, perhaps it's time to expand your view. It doesnt mean you have to agree with everything or everybody, it just may be that with time and understanding comes wisdom which, when applied, is the ultimate aim for truth and in a collective could mean a better tomorrow. You could save a relationship, a life, or personal sanity. We will take a look at it. Tune in and turn on!
