Dr. Evan R. Ransom is a cosmetic surgeon graduating in the top 10% from the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in NYC.  He then completed residency training in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, a “Top Ten” program and hospital in the United States, according to U.S. News & World Report.  Finally, Dr. Ransom was selected from a pool of national and international candidates for a fellowship in facial plastic, reconstructive, and laser surgery with renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Jacono (as seen on Discovery Health and the Oprah Winfrey Network).

Dr. Ransom has authored over 30 medical studies and textbook chapters, and has given numerous lectures at national meetings.

His practice includes reconstruction of complex defects of the face and neck resulting from Mohs surgery, cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, and all types of surgery for the aging face (facelift, eyelid lift, brow or forehead lift, midface lift, and fat grafting).  He uses the latest in minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques. Dr. Ransom is also skilled with the latest in laser treatments – both ablative and non-ablative.

Dr Ransom performs pro bono cleft lip and palate surgery with Healing the Children, a non-profit organization focused on international health (see Mission Work and Philanthropy page).  He has been on humanitarian missions to Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, and Thailand.  In addition, through his work with two American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery programs,  Face to Face and Faces of Honor, Dr. Ransom is proud to dedicate time and offer free specialty care for treatment of domestic violence victims and wounded soldiers.
