In September, Kimberley Harrington was appointed acting commissioner of education for the N.J.  Department of Education.  There are a myriad of education issues she will be dealing with, such as standardized testing, state standards, teacher evaluations, school choice, charter schools, as well as the accountability regulations.  What are her thoughts on these issues, and what does she see as her focus going forward? Acting  Commissioner Harrington will join NJSBA’s Ray Pinney as they discuss education in New Jersey.
