David was on the run from his son Absolom, and Israel and many of his allies turned against him. David wrote Psalm 13 while he was hiding. He asked God "How long will you hide your face from me?" David was discouraged as anyone in his position would be....but the end of the Psalm speaks of David's faith....he said.."But I will TRUST in YOUR Salvation"
