Dawn Ackerman is the President and Co-Founder of OutSmart Office Solutions a national office design, furniture and supplies company. With offices in San Francisco, Portland & Seattle, OutSmart Office is the first and only LGBT Vendor to Office Depot and was named the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) LGBTBE Supplier of the Year in 2012.

Ms. Ackerman has been a California business owner, entrepreneur and advocate for LGBT business inclusion for 20 years.  After being named PlanetOut’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006 she served as the President and a Board Member of the Los Angles Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (LAGLCC) for six years, and is currently serving as Board President of the Golden Gate Business Association (GGBA) in San Francisco. Additionally, she has served two terms on the NGLCC Procurement Council and is the current Chair of the Western Region of the NGLCC LGBT Affiliate Chamber Council.
