Yuko Mabuchi started playing classical piano at age of 4 in Fukui, Japan. As a teenager, she was fascinated by American R&B, Hip-Hop and Blues and after hearing the music of Oscar Peterson and Herbie Hancock she fell in love with Jazz. After high school, she entered the An Music School in Kyoto to study jazz piano under Kunihiro Kameda. After graduating from the conservatory, she began performing locally as a soloist, and as a member of a local jazz trio

Bob Attiyeh grew up in California, and then lived in Denmark with his family until 1979. That's where he met Michala Petri, one of the advisors at Yarlung Artists to this day.

“Too Small to Fail,” Los Angeles-based GRAMMY® Award winning audiophile label Yarlung Records has thrived despite the collapse in the recording industry.  Yarlung brings fresh musicians to the classical and jazz worlds using minimalist audiophile recording techniques to deliver sound as close to living performance as possible.  Bob recently stayed with her and family after a distribution conference in Munich last month. Bob was a classical guitarist, and studied peripherally at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music when he lived in Denmark.  Bob worked first for the Los Angeles Opera in marketing and public relations, and subsequently in development.
