THE TWILIGHT ZONE IN THE AGE OF CORONA

The creator and head writer of The Twilight Zone, Rod Serling (1924-75), was a true visionary, a prescient prophet of the small screen, whose many Twilight Zone episodes dealt with the universal, timeless themes of isolation, loneliness, and solitude, which is why they are so timely for today’s existential epidemic of Covid-19. These Twilight Zone episodes will be discussed and analyzed by host and pop culture historian—and Twilight Zone scholar—Arlen Schumer, utilizing images and video clips culled from those pertinent episodes. He’ll be joined by fellow Twilight Zone authors Nicholas Parisi (Rod Serling: His Life, Work, and Imagination) and Koren Shadmi (Twilight Man).

ARLEN SCHUMER wrote and designed Visions from The Twilight Zone (Chronicle  Books), the only coffee table art book based on the visual and verbal content of the legendary television series. The BBC said his works on The Twilight Zone were “a cut above the rest—passion and erudition,” many of which you can access on his website:

NICHOLAS PARISI’S  book, "Rod Serling: His Life, Work, and Imagination" is available at Amazon.com.

KOREN SHADMI’S  book, "Twilight Man" is available at Amazon.com
