Nicole Marie Grandmother Patricia Shank, age 85 DOM January 21, 2021
Our guest speaker is Nicole Marie who will share with us the tragic death of her precious Grandmother, Patricia Shank who at the age of 85 was found dead in her room at a nursing home on January 21, 2021. She was left alone and locked in her room and not allowed visits from her family during the absurd covid lockdowns and she died alone!
Patricia’s family was in the process of moving her out of the facility after the quarantine. Two days prior to her death, Nicole was talking to her on the phone and while her Grandmother opened her door to ask for a glass of water, Nicole heard someone yelling at her to get back in her room. She was allergic to morphine and yet was given morphine and Ativan because she dared to attempt to remove the IV with the morphine. In previous years she had been an advocate for others and had a home where she took care of other people and then to die this way is unconscionable. The very system she had protected others from is the system that hastened her death, the ultimate betrayal.

We often applaud how MARRIED couples in the past would stay together, especially compared to today with the DIVORCE RATE hovering around 50% over the last decade. So, what does it take to defy the odds and stay together in 2021 as special guests, DUANE & ISABEL DRAUGHON, Co-Founders of VizX Design Studios visit the show to discuss the ups and downs of their 19 years of MARRIAGE and if it is still worth it? What were their expectations in the beginning of the MARRIAGE? They now sustain a highly successful business together, but that was not always the case, financially facing hard times, even after scaling a million-dollar business to eventually struggling to pay the mortgage years later. Did those financial hardships put their marriage at risk, and what recommendations do they have for other married couples thinking about starting a business together? DUANE also openly admits their MARRIAGE never had a hierarchy, so what do they think of those who suggest the lack of a hierarchy is the main problem with today's MARRIAGES? Individually what did each of them rely on to get through their tough times, especially those times they discussed DIVORCE? Do they wish their children to marry? MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask. ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK

Somebody paved the way, so we could walk in comfort
Somebody blazed the trail to make a path for us.
Somebody walked through the eye of the storm withstood the draft of rain.
Don’t let it be in vain.
Somebody gave their heart and soul, gave their blood and sweat
A tale of courage that must be told we should never forget what they did for us and be proud of them. They loved enough to give
Remember somebody died, just remember somebody died so we could live.

News, weather, traffic, sports. If it's happening, it's being talked about on BlogTalkRadio. Nothing has the power to move us, motivate us or shake us to our core like what's happening in the world, in the nation and in our neighborhoods. We rely on news for big-picture wants and immediate needs: We plan commutes by traffic reports, our outfits by the weather and our vacations by how the stock market performs. Whether current events happen close to home or across the globe, bookmark this category for in-depth discussions about breaking news and current trends by analysts, authors and educators alike. And if you're fascinated by weather, engage with fellow enthusiasts in conversation about climate change, superstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes and more. And it's fun to note that sports – often paired with news, but here a category entirely its own – have rescued many people's social lives, built solely around team schedules.
