Black Women and Rock and Roll

We are talking to Dr. Maureen Mahon about the role of Black women in the making of Rock&Roll music. Dr. Mahon is the author of a new book about the subject entitled, Black Diamond Queens: African American Women and Rock and Roll. Dr. Mahon is Associate Professor of Music at New York University.
