There is a lot to learn and explore about general transition issues, education and training after high school, career and employment, community and independent living, understanding special needs young adult benefits, and mental and physical health care. This week we will explore options to help our Community take advantage of some of the brightest young adults in our Community, special needs and all!!
This week as we continue to showcase our local Non-profits, I welcome to the microphone the new Skills Academy DP Operations Director, Pat Orell who will give us the information we all need to hear.

• Offer a true training program to teach job and life skills.
• Provide a place where high-functioning SN adults can learn independent living skills.
• Use Social Entrepreneurship to build a company that uses its profits to fund non-profit organizations and causes.
