May 6 is not only the birthday of Willie Mays but also the birthday of Dan Schlossberg, founder, host, and executive producer of TRAVEL ITCH RADIO for the past 10 years. To mark the occasion, co-host Maryellen Nugent Lee, Dan's long-time friend and colleague, will interview him about his 52-year journalism career. An award-winning writer, author, and broadcaster, Dan is the only American journalist who covers travel and baseball exclusively. The lifelong North Jersey resident and Syracuse University graduate has traveled the world, visted every major-league ballpark, and won numerous awards for his work. Along the way, he founded the North American Travel Journalists Association [NATJA], spent 15 years as its president, and served as president of the Working Press Association of New Jersey and member of Marquis Who's Who in the World.
