Our topic tonight is a follow-up show relating to Ep. 17, which was on Fentanyl & the Heroin Epidemic Resurgence. Tonight’s topic is about Opioids and Medical Marijuana. This topic came up because of three main things. One, a recent article by Reuters Health with new data on the subject. Two, personally we recently had a family member in the hospital who needed pain management and was given Fentanyl. Three, the fact that over half the states in this country have legalized medical marijuana, yet the Federal Government still insists on enforcing it as any other random illegal drug. Anyone who is a cleared employee of the US Government would be fired for accepting this form of relief at this time, and their clearance revoked.

Tonight, we will further explain this situation, the various ethical points of the topic, and possible conclusions one can draw from new studies on the matter. This is not a political show, but we will be briefly discussing some political matters directly relating to the topic, because our findings are showing that this topic has been politicized by others.
