Join Host Joe Lisi (former ABC Sports college football researcher) as he speaks with former standout RB for the Iowa Hawkeyes- Albert Young.
Young starred for the Hawkeyes from 2004-2007 recording 3,173 rushing yards averaging 4.8 yards per carry with 23 touchdowns. He was an excellent receiver out of the backfield recording 79 receptions for 703 yards and 2 touchdowns. Young had great size and strength in leading the Hawkeyes in rushing.
He was able to carry the rock between the tackles and not afraid of contact. Young had great speed and excelleration.
Albert went on to play from 2008-2010 with the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL and was an assitant coach for the Univerrsity of Colorado in 2012.
