From Slave Pens to the Penitentiary ...,

This show is in memory of my beloved grandson, Kerry Baxter Junior, who was killed on January 16, 2011. Kerry was nineteen years old at the tme of his death, with his whole life in front him. Rest in Peace my beloved grandson. This week we take on the history of the Penal System in America. From the slave pens to the Penitentiary is about the laws designed to keep a steady flow of young black males in prisons. These days the Prison Indusrial Complex is another form of slavery for black and hispanic males. Tune in and Listen Up!
