Tune in to Anita Talks Genealogy as the Host takes on the topic of the United States Colored Troops (USCT), in the Civil War. Pennsylvania is hosting a Grand Review for the men who served in the United States Colored Troops. For those who may not know, after the Civil War a Grand Review of those who fought was held in Washington DC. The men of color (the USCT), were not invited to the celebration. They held their own celebrations. This year the State of Pennsylvania is honoring those brave soldiers with a Grand Review. There are celebrations leading up to the Grand Review Parade, in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. That event will take place November of this year. To that end host Anita Wills dedicates this broadcast to her ancestors, and all of the Brave Soldiers of the United States Colored Troops. Tune in and Listen Up!
