Tonight's special guest is Teresa Strong Myrick from Saint Petersburg, Florida, a survivor, coachauthor, victim advocate and counselor. A former police officer, she is also a homicide survivor (her father was murdered when she was a child), a child who grew up in domestic violence and a survivor of child sexual molestation. The combination of personal and professional experience fuels her passion to help others break free from past hurts and create the life they deserve. She now serves others sharing the principles, practices and techniques that were used to help her. Those who have attended Teresa’s workshops, participated in her BreakFree 360 private coaching, or have heard Teresa speak, have left with more confidence, a clear purpose and inspired to follow dreams that are true to who they are. Moto: "Be good to you, so you can be good to others" and "The hurt, the shame and blame of the past dies in the love of you". Currently she's in a 13 year marriage, the mother of 3 boys, an author, speaker and Life Coach. "I credit it all to self help books, counseling, the Life Recovery Process and Neuro-Transformational Coaching," she says. "I started addressing the results of my trauma in my 20's. I had moments when I thought I was good and finished with healing only to learn that it is an ongoing process." She goes on, "Too many of us are living our lives from a place of hurt instead of self love. I believe that we can stop the cycle of hurt that causes us to hurt ourselves, hurt others or allow ourselves to be hurt."
