The Gina Spurlin Story- Domestic Violence and Ex-Offender Relationships

Many young women are finding themselves in relationships with for prison inmates that have deeply rooted and deadly issues. Too many of these women have tragic endings after connecting with violent and abusive men who have become violent after spending time in prison. Gina's story is one of having barely escaped with her life after being brutally assaulted by her former ex-offender boyfriend. She later discovered that he had a history of substance abuse and violent behavior. My Time to Tell promotes healing and prevention of Revictimization fom Sexual Abuse through Peer Support and Giving Voice to Victims and Empowering Survivors.
