Ever wonder if you should ask a remodeler something, but not sure? This live chat is for you.

There are things you should always ask a remodeler. And then there are things you probably shouldn't. Just like the start of any new relationship, we should all be on our first-date behavior from the start. So if your potential client asks certain questions off the start, it's a red flag that there may be compatibility issues down the road.

We're talking with remodeling experts Sean Lintow Sr. and Kelly Morisseau about what not to ask a remodeler.

Sean Lintow Sr is a third generation General Contractor with more than two decades of experience. Sean is a certified RESNET HERS RATER, Infrared Thermographer L2, ENERGY STAR Verifier, AEE CEA Challenge America Partner & Verifier, and a member of NARI, NADRA, & USGBC. "I am solely dedicated to helping Homeowner, Business Owners & Trades Personal identify, correct & verify that issues affecting their health, safety, comfort & bottom line are addressed properly."

Kelly Morisseau is a designer who writes about interior design for homeowners and shares industry news with other designers, architects, contractors, and other industry professionals. She shares her fascination with food, culinary arts, and the steps it takes to create a “perfect” kitchen, along with her mission to let everyone know that kitchens and baths are about design and safety.
