Welcome to our newest not-on-a-losing-streak edition of WIIM Radio! We’ve got Kyle, J.J., and Mike B on this episode bringing you all the hottest Red Wings talk since the Wings ended their dreadful (but helpful) 10-game losing streak. Here’s what we got up to:

The WINGS WON A GAME! Our long nightmare has ended as Detroit beat the Philadelphia Flyers and have only nine games remaining before the whole season is done for. We took a bit to take quick stock of things.

Make Svetch Happen: Lots of griping about the usage of Svechnikov of late and not being used as a fourth-line grinder. It’s real hard to disagree with that kind of griping all things considered.

Appreciating Dylan Larkin: The whole season at center has had ups and downs, but the maturation of Dylan Larkin has been a great bright spot for the Red Wings. Even better, but he might be killing off the idea of Justin Abdelkader being the next Wings’ captain

How do you watch the game at this point? - Where does everybody stand on cheering on losses and how has that changed as the season has progressed?

Around the League: The Hawks are done (hahahaha), the Blue Jackets are hot, Alex Ovechkin is racing to 50 goals again. Let’s go over the interesting storylines from around the league!

Positivity Corner: Hard not to be positive when your team is WINNING GAMES LATELY. Yeah!

Reader Questions: You asked the hard stuff and we gave you all the answers fit to print in my personal favorite segment of the show.

As always, WIIM Radio is rated R for language and unlicensed outpatient surgery.
