Welcome to our Expansion Draft Spectacular episode of WIIM Radio! This time around I’m joined by Peter, Mike, and Jeff to go over the biggest news in the NHL since they took out the two line pass. Here’s what we got into:

First Things First, the Griffins Rule - Calder Cup champs, baby! Woo!

Expansion Draft Quick Rundown - How the rules work and where we stand right now on the process, the limitations Vegas faces in the selection process and all the other basics of the draft.

Detroit and the Draft - Who the Wings exposed and lots and lots and lots of Mrazek talk in terms of the biggest surprise of the exposures out of Detroit. How deep do the attitude issues go with this guy and is that worth just dumping him off? Who is the actual pick from the Wings? Is Mrazek still even the guy?

Around the League - We take a look at player names out there and what kind of side deals we already know are in place from elsewhere in the NHL. For example, what the hell are the Isles doing other than spending assets to protect a few guys they didn’t need to spend on?

Positivity Corner - We try to find the light in the darkness of this cold, hard world... and do an OUTSTANDING job.

Reader Questions - You asked some good pieces that we hadn’t covered and we gave you the best answers your money could buy (considering this episode is free). As always, my favorite part.

You can listen via the embedded player above or download this episode straight from our Blogtalk Radio page. you can also find us on iTunes and in the screaming echoes of the ghouls that haunt the afterlife.

As always, WIIM Radio is rated R for language and radio nudity
