Meet Author K.N. Jackson

Meet Kiwana Jackson, get the tea on what motivated her daily to accomplish her goal to become a published author. Kiwana is originally from Queens, NY, I currently reside in the tranquil suburbs of southern, Maryland. I am a wife and a mother of three children, son, daughter and a now 1 1/2 year old pit-bull terrier.

From a pre-teen I had written and co-directed plays for the local community theater. I loved the simplicity of taking words and breathing life into them. Along the way to adulthood, I let go of my imagination and the excitement of words. In 2014 my life had taken an extraordinary turn. New ways and new experiences couldn’t satisfy my restless nature.  I was seeking freedom, opportunities to enjoy life, to make love, be successful and learn new things. I needed a career that would allow me to be free. My love, my cornerstone, my success. Writing. Writing was the answer. Simply Lace was born from that need.
