Hayward J Thompson aka Hay J has been doing standup comedy for a few years and is known in the music industry as Haywire. Hay J has won 5 comedy competitions and was named as a finalist in a national comedy competition that started with 315 comics. They narrowed the field to 10 and Hay J was blessed enough to be #9. The only person of color to make the cut. Hay J has been the writer for radio commercials for 100.9 WIZF FM (Radio One) & was selected to interview the major comedians who perform at the Funny Bone-Newport on the Levee. In addition to being one of two comedians to be picked up by the Talentcall talent agency in Los Angeles. Hay J can bring you the intellectual side of comedy as well as the straight raw gut busting comedy. Hay J is versatile in his comedy, as he has done Christian and clean comedy events, sporting events, bars, clubs, theaters and arenas.  Mainstream and urban audiences enjoy Hay-J’s sense of humor and his delivery.
