Screenwriter John August on his new book and podcast called "Launch"

Acclaimed screenwriter, John August, best known for Charlie’s Angels, Big Fish, and his films with Tim Burton (Frankenweenie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride) is making his author debut with the launch of his first-ever novel, Arlo Finch in the Valley of Fire. After deciding two years ago to write his own series of books John started recording every conversation, and every session with the goal to give an inside look at the process which he is now chronicling in his new podcast called Launch on the Wondery network.
