It's been another week where news has hit at a dizzying pace - but the MOMocrats are still focused on the gun debate movement being led by the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Two weeks after the tragedy that left 17 people dead, these remarkable kids have accomplished more on this issue than anyone has managed in recent decades, with corporate partners of the NRA leaving in droves, changes to gun sales policies by major retailers like Dicks Sporting Goods and Walmart, and demonstrations planned for later this month that may dwarf the turnout of the Womens March. But the success of the messaging of these kids poses the MOMocrats to wonder: why didn't the kids in Ferguson and Baltimore and other cities get this kind of traction for Black Lives Matter? MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills discuss this and more political news from the last few days from a progressive point of view.
