Many of us who call ourselves “spiritual” would love to have a workable definition of exactly what that means – just in case someone asks. Having studied under the “old school” mediums, Reverend Reckel Ferguson has a foundation of spiritual beliefs and practices that are actually derived from The Declaration Of Principles received from the Spirit World in October, 1899! Initially, six were received and later three more were added. Reverend Reckel is going to discuss each of these nine Principles but she isn’t going to stop there because she has dusted off an old book she once studied called The Fundamentals of Spiritualism by Peggy Barnes (no date of publication). During the next three weeks, Reverend Reckel is going to take us to the heart of Spiritualism as it was originally envisioned and written down over a century ago. The discussion will center around everything Spiritual and will include: the Spiritualist Movement, what Spiritualism teaches and accomplishes, the trinity of man, heaven, hell, death and even the Bible.
