Welcome to our little neck of the woods that we like to call a poetic slice of life. Along for the ride is our sassy diva of a cat that we like to call queen victoria as she has something to say during showtime. Each week we like to offer shows that focus on the cultural slice of life such as the arts, music, entertainment and literary greats from yesterday that have shaped our today's and our tomorrow's for generations to come with inspiration offered.
Sit back and listen in as Wednesday's is devoted to literature from the greats and topics with a modern edge designed to make you think from today. Tonight's featured topic is the book the Human Stain released in 2000 by Philip Roth and later turned into a movie back in 2004 starring Nicole Kidman, Gary Sinise and Anthony Hopkins. The greater theme of the story is fear, denial ~ Asking what is it that you run from? What is it you hide out of possible shame and or regret? The things that destroy you are the things that you keep in silence. Through poetry and discussion sit back and listen in as we focus on these elements and the story itself.
