Dr Susanna J Dodgson,  publisher of the MJoTA African news magazine sites, at www.mjota.org, www.mjotatalks.org and www.drsusanna.org, talks with daughter of Uganda, Mrs Phibby Otaala about life in Uganda, her work in rural communities in educating women to take control of their health, and how she went from growing up poor in the slums of Uganda to becoming a journalist and advocate for women in Uganda.

She is National Chairperson of the Lobby Committee on Non-Communicable diseases: diabetes, cancer, heart diseases in Uganda and Executive Director of Hands of Hope.

Mrs Otaala is the wife of a physician, her husband Dr Michael Otaala is a former member of parliament. Because she has seen all sides of life in Uganda, and she wants the best for all girls born in Uganda.
