This episode is being rebroadcast from Michele’s original radio show, “Your Life After Trauma.”

Ignoring a head injury can be fatal. Death can be prevented if the injury is attended to such as in the cases of Natasha Richardson and Oxyclean spokesman, Billy Mays. In addition to the general population, veterans frequently suffer traumatic head injuries, which result in complications. It’s up to us to recognize the importance of managing a head trauma and knowing what to do in case something happens.

This show is dedicated to providing information surrounding what happens during a head trauma and information that can help survivors know what to do in order to regain optimal health. Dr. David Petruska, board certified neurosurgeon at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons joined Michele to discuss ‘Trauma & Head Injuries’ from a medical perspective.

Michele Rosenthal is a popular keynote speaker, award-winning author and post-trauma coach.
