William Pillow was reared as a Southern Baptist Christian and once considered entering the Christian ministry. Instead, he was educated and practiced as a Virginia pharmacist. He then worked for Eli Lilly and Company for thirty-four years. Building upon his work at Lilly in developing continuing education programs for pharmacists, he explored fiction writing after retiring. His first public literary effort led to his first book and to his screenplay adaptation of that book. Much later, his urgent concerns about aging and his wife's lingering illnesses provoked questions about life and death seemingly not answered by his Christian upbringing. He began a search of literature from health care professionals and the clergy. As a skeptic about the paranormal and metaphysical by training, he happened upon research by eminent professionals that suggested soul survival of bodily death. So he launched a never-ending search for credible reports about soul survival, the afterlife, and reincarnation. This led him to a conviction about God and personal spirituality and his second book. He also documented emerging scientific advances that significantly affect human health and well being, resulting in his third and fourth books. His fifth book was "Spirituality Beyond Science and Religion". His next book will be "Souls are Real! Death is Not!".
