Let's talk about landownership in America. Most of America's wealth, on the personal level, is typically based on or around landownership. Guess who doesn't own much land and who is the first to lose their land when the stuff hits the fan?  Join Alex Primo, Asha Zuri, and Zhe Levels Scott Thursday September 10 at 9 pm EST as we explore some of the unfair practices, criminal acts, and missed opportunities that have kept Melanated(Black) persons on the outside looking in when it comes to gaining wealth by way of landownership.  We will take a look at being denied for loans, unfavorable loans, being forced out of homes, and chased off of land. We will show you how America has systematically limited Black land acquisition and ownership. We will explain how racism, racist policies, and white supremacist groups worked in tandem to prevent and curtail the advancement of Melanated people.  Plus the brother Dennis Jefferson will be returning with another excellent episode of Healthy Matters, promoting Melanated health and well-being. Originally serving as an outlet for young urban brothers to express their social, economic, political, and personal concerns, Hip Hop took the 70's by storm.  Before you knew it everyone was rapping, dancing, and throwing big parties. People came together to bond and battle instead of fuss and fight. Ushering a new age of young people breaking down barriers with sound instead of fists. But just like Black Wall Street, once Hip Hop became a positive force in the Melanated(Black) community, it instantly became the target of those who seem to enjoy our suffering. It became the objective mark for vultures and saboteurs. Those who desired to oppress and control instead of elevate and enlighten. What if I told you that some researchers and scholars state emphatically that those who control Israel today are not the same Jews of old. Moreover, it is said that the real Jews are Black. Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri as we explore the truth and history of the group that, in today's world, we call the Jews and claims that the actual descendants of Abraham were Melanated.  In his article on Purity of Race, Jewish scholar Joseph Jacobs relates something of the dilemma that was gripping the Jewish community at this time. He writes: "The question whether the Jews of today are in the main descended from the Jews of Bible times, and from them alone, is still undecided." Gamal Abdel Nasser pointedly states that the Europeans claiming to be Jews, are nothing more then "Hebrew speaking Gentiles." The late president of Egypt, Gamal Abdel Nasser, stated on television, "you (the Jews) will never be able to live here in peace, because you left here black but came back white." Whether we agree or disagree with these opinions, authors, or researchers,we owe it to ourselves and the Melanated Family to at least have a look at this subject.  And as usual we will discuss relevant current events & other issues that concern Black people across the globe. We use politicians and our economic power to control how cops act in our community, how judges treat black people when it comes to sentencing and fairness in the court of law. Media Foundation. We own print and electronic media to control our voice and promote our businesses and our culture to our people. Education Foundation. When researching the Illuminati, we tend to start with Adam Weishaupt in 1776. But in reality there's an "invisible empire" that can be traced to the Knights Templars of the Middle Ages and back to the Mystery Schools of ancient Egypt.  The strange thing about the modern version of the Illuminati is they started off with seemingly noble ideals. They were against prejudice, abuses of governmental authority, gender inequality, and putting an end to unfounded superstition. A lot of successful and well-placed individuals were counted as members. But like many of these organizations they only pretend to be helpful or well-meaning to achieve their ulterior motives, which always turnout to be nefarious and devilish.  Find-out how we are impacted by these shadow societies and their agenda. How they affect the music, movies, and even the clothing that we wear. Learn how to spot "them" and what you can do to avoid their influence. Depression in our community. One in ten Americans will be affected by some form of Depression during their lifetime, usually caused by a major life event such as divorce, unemployment, poor health, or a death in the family. And depression is fast becoming a worldwide issue for the health industry. How does this affect Black America specifically? Well, it has been noted by researchers that those living in poverty, us, are two and a half times more likely to experience depression. Additionally, 90% of Black males who suffer from this condition seek no treatment. On top of that women are more likely to experience depression than men, so consequently that means that Black women are suffering the most from this ailment. “I’ve tried to commit suicide over 15 times. I have the scars on my arms of wanting to kill myself and not even know why,” said 45-year-old Tracey Hairston, a member of the health center who has bipolar disorder. A report published by researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison found that poverty, parenting, racial and gender discrimination put Black women — particularly low-income Black women — at greater risk for major depressive disorder (MDD). Now that we know the problem, let's talk solutions brothers and sisters.  You can call in at (917)889-2830 OR Tune in and listen online.  And remember, always keep it clean and keep it on point. #One  01:58:00MelaninAndPower Radio NetworknoBlack Thoughts and Theory,The Radio Show,Alex Primo,Asha Zuri,Lex PrimeoneJoin Alex Primo and Asha Zuri Thursday May 28th at 9 pm EST as we dissect, debate, and discuss the secret that Black folks don't talk about ... Join me, Alex Primo(Lex Primeone), Asha Zuri(Runningcowboys Futureattorney), and Joseph Whitfield as we explore this topic thoroughly, complete with controversial views and solid opinions. We hit hard and we get to the point. Now let's have a closer look at this insanity. Are we in greater jeopardy by having traitors in our midst or by the fact that our oppressors prefer their own and have no problem demonstrating this. But before we start, let's fully define our terms. What is a sellout?  A "sellout" is a person who betrays something to which she is said to owe allegiance. When used in a racial context among African Americans, "sellout" is a disparaging term that refers to blacks who knowingly or with gross negligence act against the interest of blacks as a whole. What s White Privilege? White privilege (or white skin privilege) is a term for societal privileges that benefit white people in western countries beyond what is commonly experienced by the non-white people under the same social, political, or economic circumstances. Now that we understand what we are dealing with, which one do you think is the biggest problem? Black Wealth is a sensitive issue that we need to discuss. I know a lot of you are rich already,so you can skip this one. But the rest of us that need more money and a better living, need to tune in. "Perhaps no statistic better illustrates the enduring legacy of our country’s shameful history of treating black people as sub-citizens, sub-Americans, and sub-humans than the wealth gap," the Atlantic's Ta-Nehisi Coates wrote in his masterful essay, "The Case for Reparations." That gap, enormous and awful as it already was, has been growing since the recession. Last week, the Pew Research Center reported that the median white household was worth $141,900, 12.9 times more than the typical black household, which was worth just $11,000. In 2007, the ratio was 10 to one. The divide between white families and Hispanics was similar. In addition to the dismal state of Black Americans,we find overwhelming poverty attacking our brothers and sisters in Alkebulan also.  On this episode we will discuss the problem and the solution so join us Thursday at 9 pm EST by calling (917)889-2830 and enjoy the conversation. And as always, keep it clean and keep it on point. 01:58:00MelaninAndPower Radio NetworknoBlack Thoughts and Theory,Asha Zuri,Joseph Whitfield,Alex Primo,Runningcowboys FutterattorneyBlack Wealth: Lost Resources and Solutions to Poverty  Join Asha Zuri, Joseph Whitfield ,and Alex Primo for a thorough discussion on the history of white suprePropaganda pt.2https://www.blogtalkradio.com/melanin_power/2014/10/17/propaganda-pt2Culturehttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/melanin_power/2014/10/17/propaganda-pt2/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/melanin_power/2014/10/17/propaganda-pt2Fri, 17 Oct 2014 02:00:00 GMTPropaganda pt.2Covering the wide variety of angles propaganda is used on the black community.. 02:00:00MelaninAndPower Radio NetworknoHost: MeatMe Numbereight,Danielle Hooper,Jesse James,Bee RuffCovering the wide variety of angles propaganda is used on the black community..
