"A virus is really little more than a clump of genetic material (DNA or RNA) bunched inside a protein packet. It needs a host cell to survive. Without one, it lies dormant. However, once it infiltrates a living cell within a person, plant, or animal, it taps into that cell’s reproductive equipment to duplicate itself. It makes thousands of copies of itself and in the process, damages or destroys the host cells." -  Mark Stengler, ND, The Natural Physician - Antibiotics, the weapon of choice in western medicine, are ineffective in the war against viral infections.  What can we do?  Luckily, Nchi Mama (Mother Earth), has an indestructable arsenal.  We'll discuss this arsenal and how to use it in our defense.  Today is Nina Simone's birthday.  Nina is in the realm of the Ancestors.  We love and remember you.   00:29:00Melanated Womannoviruses, antibiotic resistance, herbal medicine, herbal healing,AncestorsEveryday we hear more stories about viral outbreaks around the globe.  Fear of epidemics increase through out the population.    Viruses existed even before maThe Ancestors in Youhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/melanatedwoman/2015/02/14/the-ancestors-in-youCulturehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/melanatedwoman/2015/02/14/the-ancestors-in-you/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/melanatedwoman/2015/02/14/the-ancestors-in-youSat, 14 Feb 2015 17:00:00 GMTThe Ancestors in YouAs African Kutawanyika, not only have we been removed from our place of origin, traditions, culture, language, and spirituality, but we have been removed from our actual selves.  The original people are no longer original in any sense.  We desperately want to be as the descendents of those who kidnapped and brutally torchered and killed our Ancestors, and systematically destroyed us as a people, even to this day.   In order to return to the brilliant people we once were, we must reconnect with ourselves.  In order to make this reconnection we must reach out and communicate with our African Ancestors who are not only with us, but are within us genetically.
