Lee Stranahan came up to Maryland on Feb. 13 and filed two charges against me.  Egged on by his buddies, failed attorney Aaron Walker (See Walker v. Kimberlin -- it's a LAFF RIOT!) and W.J.J. Hoge Jr. (Father of the brutish manchild who wanted me to see his big, shiny gun), Stranahan marched over to the Howard County Courthouse and charged me with one count of E-Mail Harrassment and Harrassment as a Course of Conduct. I almost feel bad saying this, but both charges contain this exception: "Exception. -- This section does not apply to a peaceable activity intended to express a political view or provide information to others." I write for a blog. I do an internet radio show. My attempts to extract information from Lee Stranahan may be a pain in his ass, but they are the legitimate pursuits of a journalist, and therefore, are excluded from both of the laws I am charged with breaking.
