Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. This week, we take a sweet bite of horror comedy hijinks and movies so scary funny you might just pee a little.

Since Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein, horror comedies have walked the fine line between scary and funny. Fast forward 70 years and this sub genre is still riding strong all while achieving pop-culture cult status and success for their talent and creatives. Army of DarknessShawn of the Dead, and Zombieland are but a few relatively recent examples of the literally thousands of horror comedies to mention so to help us along this long, dark, winding and wacky road are guests Carlos Alazraqui (Reno 911!) and co-writer Jill-Michele Melean (MadTV) to announce, discuss and celebrate the release of their new movie Witness Infection (Avail VOD 3/30/2021).

Witness Infection tells the story of two rival mob families who are transferred from the Witness Protection Program to the same city by mistake. But the past is about to come back and bite them when a serious infection brought on by tainted Italian sausage turns casual diners into zombies and the small inland SoCal city of Temecula, into a hell scape of vomiting, farting, pus faced, brain eating monsters.

Join hosts, Grim Shea, Marke and Jimmy The Gent as they try to crack that code and find the funny in very strange places. You’ll laugh, you’ll scare, you’ll pee your pants a little.
