I wake up every day with an earnest desire to do more. Truth be told, it’s been years since I’ve slept through the night. There’s just too much excitement and the line between work and pleasure disappeared long ago.

I believe that educating is an art that deserves as much care and attention as the cinematography of your film does. Here is my commitment to you – I will always push to be a better storyteller, whether that’s in films I am a part of making, or in spending a day sharing our ideas with you.

You might read that I’ve won several Emmy’s or that I’m a Canon Explorer of Light. Don’t believe them. None of that matters. What matters is how much you connect with who we are and why we do it.


It used to be that filmmaking was full of roadblocks. Access to gear, post, and getting your film out there was well out of reach for most of us. Today though, times have never been better for aspiring filmmakers. Everything is at our fingertips and more accessible than ever - that’s the powerfully good news.

On the flip-side, when the barriers to entry are removed, so too are the excuses for not delivering. No longer can you take comfort in sighting excuses for why your passion-filled piece remains unmade.
