In the past few years the attention to guardianship abuse has skyrocketed. The National Association to Stop Guardian Abuse and other organizations are receiving more letters from victims than ever. What are the key components that have led to the growing spotlight on this form of abuse, and has it now finally caught the public's attention in a way that will force change? Or, will the public and government continue to turn a blind eye to the insidious attacks on the elderly and other vulnerable people, for the express purpose of profiting from their captivity.
