Join us Wednesday, March 4, 2020 with Guest speaker Michelle Young Doers RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist and author of the newly released book titled Killing for Profit, The Dark Side of Hospice.   Michelle writes this heartfelt book from deep within the trenches of what she witnessed first-hand while working for hospice, caring for patients at the end of their life.  She saw a business model of cutting corners, making promises that would never be kept and placing the bottom line of the accountants ahead of the care for the patient.  Her book shares personal stories of several of her patients and how the process really works and she provides medical terminology explaining to the readers what is really happening to the patient physically before their death.  Information we have no clue about and that might be very useful for future knowledge.

Michelle is a very compassionate person for her patients in addition to their families including many pets that she took the extra step to find homes for that would be left behind and ignored, just like the owners were in their last days.  Hear how her confrontation to management ultimately cost her her job.  It’s not a pretty story but then hospice is not a pretty end to someone’s life.

People’s life are being shortened by hospice with opioids and antipsychotic drugs resulting in starvation and dehydration leaving behind families who are in shock having witnessed their death and powerless to save them.

Stealth Euthanasia is happening across the country as elderly and disabled are being targeted for early death and deemed unworthy of life. You have the right to question doctors decisions, refuse drugs, be a part of “the plan” or refuse hospice altogether.  Never accept what you are being told without verifying.
