Join me with guest Sylvester Boyd Jr. talking about how we all are members of the human race and should be respected as such. Sylvester is a historian, a background actor who has appeared in hundreds of TV episodes and several movies, and an author. His first novel, "The Road From Money," is based on the true stories from 1925 to 1937, told to him by several family members raised in Money, Mississippi. He has woven both fact and fiction into a dynamic portrayal of historical events of the era; including music, inventions and the journey of a young Negro girl and her family living under the trying times of Jim Crow in the South. The second book "The Road from Money, The Journey Continues," was released in November 2017. The story takes place in Chicago’s Bronzeville community from 1937 to 1955.
