ERASE Racism is a regional organization that leads public policy advocacy campaigns and related programming initiatives to promote racial equity in housing, public school education and healthcare primarily on Long Island. Elaine Gross, MSW, founder and president, has made it her mission to explore the systemic causes of social, politcal, and economic inequities and find ways to counteract those inequities. The ERASE stands for Education, Research, Advocacy, Support to Eliminate Racism.
