Faith versus hope is a crisis in the Body of Christ. The paradigm that is warring against faith is hope. Don’t get me wrong, hope is not a bad thing. On the contrary, it is a very good thing. However, hope must always run parallel to faith; it should never exceed it or surpass it. Jesus did not die so that we would have hope. The Lord God was never referred to as the Author and Finisher of our hope. Believers do not receive salvation by hope; they receive salvation by grace through faith in Christ Jesus.
