She received her Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. Myani also consulted to various educational concerns under her own shingle Envision Education Solutions, Inc. Ms. Lawson also taught in the Newark Public Schools in Newark, New Jersey. There she served as a 5th grade and then later 2nd grade teacher where she earned her Master of Education in Reading.
